FOOTWEAR BRAND CAMPER CHOOSES PLM SOFTWARE

LOS GATOS, Calif. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 –
Spanish footwear company Camper has selected Centric Software to provide its product lifecycle management (PLM) solution.

Designers, collection managers, and staff from costing, materials, technical development, fitting, quality and industrialisation will use the Centric 8 PLM software for footwear products.

Camper users also will include the company’s internal product development teams that work in the off-shore factories.

Sito Luis Salas, chief operating officer at Camper, says the tool “will be able to support the continuous changes Camper experiences throughout the product development process.”

The Centric 8 solution will replace the shoe firm’s outdated PLM software and spreadsheets, as well as support a company reorganisation.

It will also enable improved internal and external collaboration during the reorganisation, and more easily integrate the off-shore development team into all changes.

The Camper brand is sold in more than 300 Camper stores and 4,000 points of sale in more than 50 countries.
